Dr. Stamas grew up in Northeastern Ohio and graduated from Ravenna High School in 1986. He then attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. After college he returned to the Buckeye State and graduated from the O.S.U. College of Dentistry in 1997. As a Dental officer in the United States Air Force stationed in Goldsboro, N.C., Dr. Stamas gained further dental training in all aspects of general dentistry. Following his service, Dr. Stamas returned to Ohio and bought Stamas Dental Group in 2001.
Dr. Stamas continues to make education a top priority and attends numerous continuing education classes. He recently completed a comprehensive course of studies in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry at the Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Charlotte, North Carolina. This program has received the approval of the American Academy of General Dentistry and is taught by world-renown dentists, and dental instructors. The ability to produce excellent dentistry takes years of dedication. Creating beautiful restorations requires a sophisticated understanding of biological, chemical and physical sciences, a mastery of technical skills and artistic abilities. What modern cosmetic dentistry does for a smile, one's health, appearance and self esteem is hard to describe.
Staying current with the latest dental techniques is a prime objective of Dr. Stamas. Dr. Stamas is best known for his kind and gentle nature. His wife's name is Nicki and they have four wonderful children, Brittany, Lindsay, Jacob and Tyler.
